BIOGRAPHY
Mahira Khan (Urdu: ماہرہ خان‎), born Mahira Hafeez Khan (Urdu: ماہرہ حفیظ خان ‎), on December 21, 1982, is a Pakistani Video jockey and actress. She has worked with satellite TV channels MTV Pakistan and Aag TV. She made her film debut with 2011Shoaib Mansoor's Bol for which her performance earned her unanimous critical appreciation. She is best known for her roles in serials Humsafar, Neeyat and Shehr-e-Zaat for which she won two Hum Awards.

Khan began her career as a VJ when she was 16 years old." Khan hosted the live show Most Wanted for three days a week on MTV Pakistan, and hosted Weekends with Mahira on Aag TV. She also host Lux Style Awards with Shoaib Mansoor in 2008. In 2013 Khan hosted Hum Awards with Mikaal Zulfiqar.

In 2011, Khan made her film debut with Bol directed by Shoaib Mansoor, produced by Shamoon Abbasi. Her co-stars in the film were Atif Aslam, Humaima Malick and Iman Ali. The film received Positive reviews from the critics and Khan presented herself very well in the film.

Khan met Ali Askari at Indus TV studios during her vacations and fell in love. They married on 13 July 2007. They have two children: a daughter and a son.
